Where do we start?
Firstly we need to work out what colours you wear, whether it be your clothing or the colour lipstick you wear. Going very different, sometimes you do need to change those colours, ie going from blonde to dark or blonde to copper, changes your whole skin tone.
"I have a friend whom I recently coloured from bleach blonde to copper with blonde foils scattered through, she had recently lost a lot of weight and had been blonde for years, so when I suggested it, she grabbed it with both hands, out came the colour chart, and I asked her what she had in mind, and was very surprised when she chose such a bright copper! When we had finished she was walking on air, it changed her whole demeanour and she was shining, had a spring in her step well and truly. A change is as good as a holiday so they say...

Your decision to have a new colour or to have a few extra foils, is one that we need to look at, how often do you get your colour done. Upon making that decision we can work out from the colour chart how light to go, how bright to go, or how the contrasting foils and colour are going to blend together so you get the longest time out of your foils or colour, or both. Taking into consideration the condition of your hair and the products you are using to maintain the colour.
